Is this a real question or are you justing showing off your Firebird
I hate long distance driving with a passion, not to mention what it'd do to that paint job. My normal "break-even" point is around 3 hours but that's only because I hate driving so much.

Color me confused. First of all, this is FT and we're all about accumulating miles and/or points. Secondly, where is your starting point? If your starting point is LAS and you're heading to LA on a Sunday then I'd say fly because the scenery sucks and the traffic will be even worse. Finally, I'm not a big fan of road trips or American "muscle" cars. The only way I'd be interested in driving anywhere of significant distance is in a 5 series Benz or a 7 series BMW driving no more than 8 hours a day and staying at nice hotels along the way.
