Private guide in Venice?
Hello:
I'll be in Rome and Venice in early May. I've been to both cities before on my own, but this time I'd like to use a local guide. I've booked two tours through Scala Reale in Rome, but I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience with either a private guide or a company offering tours with small groups (6 or so) in Venice.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I hope obscure2k sees this thread, as Venice is one of her favorite destinations. She has been there often enough to now know some people that she may refer to you.
Please consider sending her a private message with your request if nobody else answers your question in this thread, DKM. She is very helpful and knows things about Venice that the typical tourist would otherwise not know.

Please refer to the November Venice Meet II thread, DKM.
The above link should take you to the appropriate milepost in that thread.
