Question US to Brasil

So, Delta is 1k to Brasil from Atlanta NS and I am tired of doing the "Priceline super long layover in Miami route" - or the Varig - "maybe we'll cancell the flight" route. Anyone got ideas on ATL - GRU or ATL-RIO for under 700? Muito Obrigado.

try BACC - travel agency out of NYC

I've flown down there three times and am pricing another trip now. I have always gotten better prices going thru a Brasilian travel agency in NYC called BACC. (ONLY time I've ever used an agency) Their website sucks, so if you can get the phone number they are very helpful. They post all their fares in a newspaper called "The Brasilians" which you will get automatically if you book through them. ATL is ALWAYS the one of, if not THE most expensive city to fly out of. I recommend geting a cheap one-way to Miami and fly out of there (cheapest) direct on Varig/American. Wish I could give you more info - BACC is well worth calling. Boa Sorte! E Boa Viagem!

DL just announced non-stop service to GIG. If you want to fly non-stop, I think the ony option is DL hence higher prices. Can you bid on PL now an specify no connections? CO used to have several flights through Houston.
