Priority Pass Information Please

I have a Standard Priority Pass membership. Does anyone know when using Priority Pass, can one enter, leave, and then re-enter a lounge without paying again? Is there a consistent policy about this at all airline lounges?

My situation is that we have a three plus hour layover at PDX during the lunchtime. My wife and I were hoping to enter either the Red Carpet Room or the WorldClub, then leave and have lunch, and then return, maybe even with our lunch.

If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Thank you very much in advance.

I can't speak from experience, but especially if you keep your receipt, I can't think of ANY reason why you couldn't come back.

I haven't had a problem doing this as the agent usually remembers me and doesn't even stop me when I come back in. As 925 mentioned you may want to keep the receipt though, as the agent may change.

Most lounge policies prohibit outside food and drink so you might not be welcomed back in if you bring your own food.

We've never had a problem leaving and coming back in again. Some lounges don't have bathrooms, and if you're using Airline A's lounge they don't post the status of Airline B's flights. So, there are many reasons to enter and exit. You might want to let them know if you'll be out for an hour or so to get a meal.

I had a bit of a problem in one of the lounges in AMS last year. I had left the lounge found a different lounge dragon sitting at the desk when I came back in. Although she spoke very good English, the dragon had a very difficult time understanding that a) I had already been granted lounge access and b) My priority pass was "just in that bag on the chair over there". Fortunately, the lounge dragon who'd originally granted me access put in a special guest appearance and intervened.

If you're on a standard Priority Pass (in other words, you pay to get in), always take your Priority Pass and receipt with you if you must leave the lounge for any reason.

Regards
