Baggage storage at LAX

I have 2 friends coming in from Germany and India around the same time. The combined baggages definately wont fit in my Camry. I was wondering if there is a storage at LAX where I could keep some bags for a few hours, go home, and then do the return trip to LAX to retrieve the remaining ones.

"There is a left-luggage facility on the Arrivals level of the TBI Terminal; a wrapping service is available"

I haven't used this service so I can't vouch for the accuracy of this info.

Does anyone have updated info on baggage storage at LAX in general, and TB more specifically?

Unfortunately, this doesn't exist (anymore?). I was at TBIT and could not locate it. I checked the LAWA website and these are the recommendations....

http://www.lawa.org/lax/tenantlaxres...ax&s_airport=4

I've worked with both AeroEx and MBI, and don't recommend them unless you have plenty of time to wait. I'm not familiar with the third option, but after a call, they say they can pick up and store bags close by within 10-15 minutes. The pick up/drop off charge is $20 (one time fee) plus per bag ($12 large/$8 medium).

It might be cheaper to rent a car or go to a hotel and ask the concierge to store the bags.

My memory told me that the left-luggage facility is at the Departure level of the TBI Terminal; just beside the Malaysia Airlines check-in counter

There used to be one there, but it is closed. I think the LAX security plan prohibits any left-luggage service within the airport perimeter, so you are forced to store off-airport -- making LAX very inconvenient for leaving luggage (my own solution is to rent a car, even if I mostly park it).
