I've got a first Marathon trip (well for me atleast) coming up. I'll be flying from IAD to Bangalore, India via FRA for a nice 21 hours in transit (thank goodness i'll be in Business). Any tips on maintaining sanity during the trip would be great. I've already got a bucky pillow, a good book, and will be taking a number of DVDs for the trip. Thoughts?

Is there any way you can work overnight stays into it? I went to Delhi from MCI last year and we were told the company would pick up the cost of the overnight stays if we flew Coach. I selected that option rather than fly Business Class. Stayed in London both ways, took the Heathrow Express in and out of London and enjoyed a little of London in both directions. The jet lag wasn't as bad and I swear that's why- I came home on a Sunday and went into 2 days of offsite meetings that included dinners and a presentation I made with my boss. There's a decent hotel called the Monopole (I think) near the Frankfurt train station that we used on an overnight once.
If you can, get PriorityPass or another airline club pass, especially if you can get access to a Club with showers.

A crapload of DVDs doesn't hurt, either.
Best of luck!

It occurred to me that if you're flying Business through FRA you probably do have access to Lufthansa's lounge (assuming you're taking Lufthansa, CO or United).
Anyone know if the Lufthansa lounge has showers?
