retaliatory patdowns? did they think I was American?

Looked through recent posts and didn't see anything related to this, but I'm thinking this must have come up at some point on here...sorry if it's repetitive, but I'm curious if others have experienced this. I am a canadian currently living in Sweden. I joke whenever we travel in europe that everyone can eyeball me as north american simply by my jeans and hiking shoes (how european women navigate prague wet cobbelstone in stilettos is a complete wonder). Was in Prague over xmas, returned to CPH yesterday. Was the first to check in thru Czech security for our flight and not alot of people were around. I was pretty shocked, given my experience with security in europe vs in the US, to have the female agent put down her wand (without having used it on me) and proceed to give me the full on "US style breast---under-over-and-in--between patdown", that was just a few days ago apparently policy changed. She proceeded to pat just about everywhere else, and while i was uncomfortable, such is life right? It's all in the name of security. Not quite...cause I watched. Everyone else that came thru for the flight after us, only got the wand. Not one of the european well heeled ladies (or the guys) got anything but the wand.
My boyfriend's tongue in cheek attempt at making me feel better by saying...maybe she just liked you, didn't make me feel much better. I have heard plenty of people here in Europe (non security types, just every day people) talk about how foreign security should fingerprint and grope americans just to return the favour, but I didn't really expect it would happen...now i'm thinkin....hmmm. And no my Canadian passport was not out and visual at the time.
Any thoughts?

don't think so (i only have the stub left, but i don't remember any writing on it at all)...it was a czech airlines flight from Prague to Copenhagen....is the SSSS used outside of the states? I haven't seen it over here, but that doesn't mean it's not used here. And it was a security check to get thru to the boarding gate, didn't even have carry on with me.

I guess I misunderstood your original post -- I thought you were in the US, because I think our security has perfected the retaliatory grope. I guess it's possible they thought you were American and wanted you to feel at home
