This post also reminded me of another article I read years back in USA Today, about state capitals without jet service. This was before RJs really came on big. I recall that several states had no scheduled service at all to their state capitals, including Trenton, Montpelier, Dover, and Frankfort KY.

Ah, sorry. I left the caveat out of my post upthread, which is that sometimes the small air taxi-type operators don't show up in my data source. I'm not sure what the cut-off is or why some small operators show up and others don't, but I meant to include that disclaimer and forgot. There are certainly others, though as they're unlikely to be familiar even to the readers of this board I still felt like the post could be useful.

Probably already mentioned in this thread, but US used to have PHL and PIT to MDT daily flights.
As per the above posts, jurisdictional capitals are big on intra flights.

I’ve done my share of GRR-DTW connections over the years. DTW also gets some EAS routes from northern lower Michigan and I want to say the UP as well

Most of the passengers were construction workers. On one of the flights I got to sit in the right seat up front. That was fun.
