Exclamation How to get from EWR-NYC?

I've never done this before, but I'm going to EWR today and was wondering How do I get from EWR-Newark Penn Station? I would need to take PATH to Jersey City.... That is fine....

I never done this before so I would like to ask someone that knows, how do I get from Terminal B to Newark Penn?

Thanks

Take the monorail at Terminal B to the EWR train station. Hop on a NJ Transit Train going north and it takes you to Newark Penn Station.

Hmm You make it sound so easy heh

A quick question, can I get off at Terminal C and walk around a bit (Though I dont have a ticket) and take the monorail to the Airport station.

Im just there dropping off my mom, but my dad has work, so If I stay I dont have a ride back.

Btw, whats a good restaurant in Terminal C?

You can get on and off the monorail at any of the terminals, the rental car center and the train station.

I haven't been in terminal C, but I don't remember there being that much to do landside at the other terminals.

The only food outside security that I know of is an espresso stand on the baggage claim level. EWR's C has almost nothing outside security.

To get into NYC from C:
* buy a NJ Transit ticket to NY Penn Station at the amtrak/NJ Transit machines on the mezzanine level in C, right by the escalators to the monorail
* take monorail to the EWR train station
* take a train into NY Penn Station- not all NJ Trainsit trains go that far, so check the schedules first:

NJ Transit

The clickable route map is the easiest way to get just the schedules that you need.

From his initial post, he wants to go to Newark Penn Station and then transfer to the PATH to Jersey City.

So it the OP going to NYC (as his thread title suggests) or Jersey City? I saw he'd mentioned the PATH to Jersey City, but his title asked about NYC. Last time I remember, there's a bit of water between those two places.....

I got back without a problem... At the Train Station, there was a couple from Miami looking to take the PATH.... Since I was also taking PATH, I helped them out.... Its the first time for us, and many there.... But it was simple. but ripoff.. 6.80 from EWR-Newark Penn.... And 1.50 for PATH...

Don't waste the money on the AirTrain just to get to Newark Penn Station from EWR. There's a NJ Transit public bus (the #65 I think) that will take you to Newark Penn for only $1.10. The ride takes about 20 minutes.
