AA to SAS

Hi

Not sure if this is the right thread...

My wife is flying DFW-Newark on AA and arrives at Term A.

She leaves on SAS to Oulu via Stokholm from Term B.

Question, can she check in and check her bags through to destination from DFW?

Route is DFW-NWR-ARN-HEL-OUL...at which point will she need to pick the bags up....my guess would be HEL as this in non-schengen???

Opinions from the wise ones.....my word is not good enough aparantly

If the airline allows, there are no problems checking the luggage through to the final destination be it Schengen or non Schengen. Schengen does not mean anything luggage wise.
Customs will be done at your final destination, but as Finland is actually part of Schengen (as well as Sweden) , she will go through passport control at ARN.
