Amazing Race

I don't think they have ever been to:

Peru
Poland
Iceland

Maybe they have and I can't remember, but it think it would be interesting.
In Peru they could have to find a certain block at Machu Picchu since some of them are numbered when they are rebuilt.

In Poland they could have to go to the Salt Mine in Krakow.

This show is awesome... but am having a hard time trying to find a favorite team this time. Definitely not Team Blue Lagoon though!!!

Stop the taxis!

It's a GREAT show, but I wish they would hit more third world nations. And I wish they would not allow taxis in most cases! Forcing them to take public transportation to get around would really really be a challenge. For the last race, they forced them to use public transport in India, and it had some of the best moments of the entire series. Please, no more taxis--ESPECIALLY at the end of the race. Who can forget when undeserving Flo and Zach won the last race, all because they luckily found a taxi faster than others? Unfair.

Was it "Lost"? It was a few years ago, I guess that it was wasn't it? My bad.

I have worked in Mongolia the last 4 years and I can tell you that it would be a great place for T.A.R.. They could make them eat mutton and Marmot and guzzle gallons of Airag... ^

They've also been to Peru (this season) and Iceland (last season).

Have they been to New Zealand yet? I've only been watching for the past three seasons?

How about:

Lapland
Siberia
Bangledesh
Iran (unlikey, I know)
Jordan

Yes, they have. They had motorhomes and took the Picton-Wellington ferry, something I did a few months behind them. They also did the caves at Waitomo, I believe.

Watch on Tuesday. The consensus on the OMNI TAR thread is that Jamaica is the next stop.

I'd vote for some of these:

Montenegro - Maybe Bay of Kotor, beautiful scenery, get some publicity for the country
Croatia
Albania - just because people are irrationally afraid of it
Bolivia - Altitude sickness could make it interesting, possible "Detours" could include buying Llama fetuses at the Witches market, or bartering for Coco leaves
Prague - I'm just shocked they haven't been there yet!
Cuba - There's got to be SOME way for network to pull this off
Belarus - One of the last dictatorships!
N. Korea - Hah, we can joke can't we!
