Coincidences Flying - "The Circle"

I'm new here. Here are a couple of thoughts I am wondering if you other frequent flyers have noticed. I call this "The Circle":

[1] You recognize people on flights and in the airport, not because you know them, but because you have seen them in other airports or on other flights.

[2] You run into people you know on flights, airports, or at destinations. In fact this happens to me on almost every trip now. I will either run into a former work colleague, client, or friend. In one case I ran into my roomate from college on an elevator in Calgary [we went to college in New York]. In another case I ran into one of my best friends from high school while walking down a street in London [I did high school in Maryland]. And yet in another case I ran into a family at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, that I met in Costa Rica. The family lives in Minnesota [that was really weird].

I call this "The Circle" because the more people you meet while on travel, the more likely you are to meet them again, because they travel too. Hence "The Circle" of travellers.
