Reliable TA in CMB
Folks I am interested in getting two RT Business Class tickets from CMB to YVR on SQ or any other airlines for my parents. Would appreciate your recommendation of a reliable TA in CMB, who can courier the tickets to them in India. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

HotRod, since you are from Canada, can not a travel agent in Canada issue SITI tickets?
I thought Canada was exempt from SITI regulations.

Last year, I was able to buy a CMB-SFO RT ticket from the SQ website, at the low CMB price. I was able to use my UK address credit card - the price was quoted and charged in Sri Lankan currency. The only problem will be if you're not travelling yourself - then you'll need to use your parent's credit card. The tickets can be collected either at the airport or at the SQ Colombo city office
At the moment the (UK) SQ website is quoting CA $1774 in Y.

Have you been into the SQ CMB CTO?
Right on the counter is a prominent legal notice stating that according to Sri Lankan law, tickets for travel originating in Sri Lanka must be issued in Sri Lanka, allowing for PTA's of course.
What am I missing?
Have you or YYZPrincess actually used a Canadian issued ticket with travel originating in CMB?
Honestly wondering.
