Female captains

There was a thread on this earlier..... this might be of interest:

http://www.fromthecockpit.com/archive/June 2004.htm

She was the captain on a flight (from IAH I think) maybe six months ago and asked for business cards for her newsletter (and book promotion).

Link doesn't work, even if 2004, _2004, or " 2004" added.

Well, actually, she does imply that she flies for United:
Ive never, thankfully, had anything terrifying happen to me in a jet airliner, either at United or at any previous airline for which Ive flown.

Well, the newsletter provides the number of UA female captains and that's why I posted this, channel 9, I gave her my business card on UA flight so that she could me on her mailing list, etc..... well, whatever. I suppose some people like to feel important.

So when I subscribed to her newsletter, she e-mailed back asking where I'd heard of her site. I pointed her toward Flyertalk, so maybe we'll have another UA pilot to talk to (which would be a great thing)
