Thumbs up Cool Google FLIFO feature

I just found out that if you perform an airline code and flight number search on Google in the format "AA 250," for example, it returns at the top of the search list, two hotlinks:

1) goes directly to the Travelocity FLIFO page for the flight in question; and

2) goes directly to the FLIFO page for the flight in question at fboweb.com.

Pretty slick, and much easier than going through any of the websites themselves; FLIFO is two clicks away!

It's been posted somewhere on FT before, and probably in TravelBuzz, but thanks for the heads up

Neat, for sure (Google really is a wonder), but also not really miles and points-related so I'm going to move this to TravelBuzz.

Thanks... I tried to do a FT search on the term "google," but for some reason it returned dozens of threads, none of which appeared to have anything to do with google.

Unhappy does not seem to work with "nw"

I entered "nw8", "nw 8" and "nw 008" and got mostly addresses in London NW8. Please tell me what I did wrong.

Hmmm... maybe this feature isn't so cool. I started playing around with it some more and found that it doesn't always work. In particular, in doesn't seem to like Northwest airlines, since the "NW" can stand for a lot of other stuff (like postal codes).

DL 73 doesn't work, but Delta 73 does.
ua 123 works, even lower-case.
