Seating for MD 11
Hi,
First time poster here. I did a search and couldn't find the information that I seek (although I have a feeling it's probably buried here somewhere!), so I thought I'd ask.
Does anyone know where I can find a seating chart for the McDonnell Douglas 11? The reason I'd like to know is so I can find out which exact seats are in the emergency row. I have an overseas trip in just over a week (Washington Dulles to Amsterdam), and I own a pair of very long legs which really need extra room! Those seats are nearly always gone when I check in, so I thought I'd see if they're available for early check-in online.
I checked out several links on Google but none gave specific seat numbers.
I am using frequent flier miles (Northwest), but if anyone has any other ideas on how to get the emergency exit row seats, I'd greatly appreciate you sharing.

Assuming you are flying on a KLM MD-11, there are no real exit row seats in coach. There is a lavatory located between the first row of seats and the actual door on the sides, while the central seats (row 21 DEFG) are actually bulkhead seats with no appreciable extra legroom. If you must have extra legroom on one of those planes, try for 24H or 10H.

Btw, this is a most incredible forum! It may takes me years to read everything, but I'm still going to try! There is some wonderful information, and people seem extremely helpful. Thanks so much for providing it. :-)
