Is there a generic airport code for Southern California that allows fare-searching across the various airports there? (Like NYC, WAS, CHI, etc.)

So really, the only one is SAN: whenever I plug this into a website, it's searching both CLD and SAN, right?

I'm surprised there isn't one for LAX+SNA+ONT and maybe +SAN. And I'm surprised there isn't one for SFO+OAK+SJC.

I can get most of what I want with Orbitz's +70 miles flag, but I'm still surprised...

Random trivia: Hawaiian Airlines will sell me a coach ticket MCI-PHX-CLD for $3656. (Obviously an HP codeshare.)

Would QLA include any airports in addition to LAX, ONT, SNA, BUR, and LGB, like PSP? Or perhaps excluding LGB?

What is the most widely cast city code? Mapquest says BWI is 56.4 miles from IAD (though I'm told BWI isn't part of WAS in some systems), and ONT-LAX is 56.7 miles. EWR-HPN is a mere 47.4. But surely LON has them all beat.

Great! Thanks!! Works in Expedia... QSF also works for NoCal.

These codes don't work in Orbitz, but the +70 miles is good enough there.
