Hi everyone,

I hate to bother you, but I was wondering if anyone would answer the survey question for me. That's about Frequent Flyer Programs.

I'm taking the Internet Marketing Research in NYU and have to conduct a survey as a term project, but I don't have many acquaitances in NY, because I am an international student from Japan. So, I need your help.

All you have to do is to answer the following questions below, and send email with your answer to me at [email protected]. Maybe it will take 5 minutes or so. Thank you in advance!!

Bear in mind that the data you collect from this forum has the potential to be skewed (if you are looking for a random sample). The term "Frequent" flier does not do justice to a good number of people who post on these boards. Just my 2 cents.

I thought a Baby Boomer was someone in the 40-60 range. (e.g., someone born in roughly right after WWII through about the early-60's)

I don't think of 35-year-olds as Baby Boomers.

I also think there should be a Baby Bust generation in there, covering today's thirty-somethings. Today's 35-year-olds aren't "grungy" enough to be X'ers. Except for the small minority that got into British punk before Seattle became cool. I'm good with them being honorary considered X'ers.

So the mainstream Gen-X is the kids born in the early-to-late-70s, leaving Y for everybody after that: up through today's college kids. (Do they have their own title yet?)

Why am I rambling about this? Because these surveys show up every few weeks in Milesbuzz and I'm growing weary of them.

This is not appropriate fodder for "MilesBuzz", me sez. I'm moving it to Omni, as I can not think of a more focused home for it.

Well, what can I say.

It is a survey, and God knows that we have a ton of those around here, but about travel?

We do space travel, inter-dimensional travel, and many more, but not frequent flier programs and regular travel.

Let's move it to TravelBuzz!

The 87th Frequent-Flier Survey to be posted here since January is hardly Buzz worthy, is it?
