Equip Change gives me bad seats...
UA has changed the equipment (a320 -> 737)on one leg of my ITIN and their automatic seat shuffler has moved me and my party from over the wing seats to two rows from the rear of the plane. I called Reservations and asked to be placed in a comparable or better seat to what I had. They said that since I'm not a Premiere member I can't be placed in the fist 10 rows of coach. Any suggestions? BTW - they said that ALL seats are the same and that NONE are better than another -- that said I feel that I got bad seats, but in UA's view, I have just another seat.

I once went from having an exit row window on a 777 to a middle seat in the last row of the plane on a 747 and I'm a 1P. Sometimes they can't do much (as in the people on the phone, not the guys who switch around the schedules).
