I received the email too. A) Wonder how they got our email addresses? B) Nope, never heard of them. Maybe someone else has.

I get emails from this guy too, can't remember how it started. It may have been when I saw some tickets on ebay and emailed asking if he could do me a cheap J ticket on BA. I didn't take him up on the offer but I get what appears to be a personalised email asking if he can sort me out for any tickets

Hmmm. Consolidator? Grey Market tix? Some sort of miles-buying scheme?

I'm 99.9% confident that the e-mails were harvested from FLYERTALK!

Why? Because my e-mail address, [email protected] is only used for the following forums: flyertalk.com and runnersworld.com.

To say the least, it took about 4 years before this e-mail address was spammed.

I only know spotnana as a yahoo group, which sends from time to time informations and news about Frequent Flyer Programs. But it is new to me, that it is a travel agency.

Spotnana does not seem to know the difference between business class and first class!!!!

It seems like they are comparing first class prices to business class prices.

Got the same e-mail, they must have gotten our addresses from FT.

No intention of using them without some more disclosures regarding how they get the tickets.

When living in the U.K., I had good luck with Travelselect.com, from which I bought a discounted J class ticket from London to Hong Kong on Swissair for a little over $1000. I even got to fly CX using the SR codeshare (this goes back to March 2001).

They didn't send me an email. Boy, do I feel left out... ...NOT!!

Seriously, as I've only been on FT for a few months, maybe the email addresses were harvested prior to that time.

PresRDC:

I did not see any earth shattering deals on Travelselect.com even out of London. Are you using any other site out of US for discounted Biz and First Class?

The price you got for LHR-HKG seems great!

I got the email. I think we were spammed from the FT database. Isn't this illegal?
