SNA Help

Howdy gang,

We're planning a leisure trip to SNA in April but we need to stop by the Arrowhead Pond Arena and therefore stay by the arena in walking distance. Anyone know of any hotels near the arena (I'm HH and SPG Gold if that helps). I'm not big on rental cars, so is there transportation to/from the airport as well? Someone recommended SuperShuttles -- how reliable is it? Finally, I gather Disneyland (I haven't been there in decades!) is very romantic... how far is the park from the arena?

Thanks for all your help!

aloha

SuperShuttles is very reliable, but not cheap. You'd probably do better with a rental car.

Disneyland is less than 10 minutes from the Arrowhead Pond.

If you use the Yahoo Maps function that cordelli pointed out in a different thread, you can see the closest hotels to the Pond.

On the Yahoo home page, click on maps, the plug in the address, which is 2695 East Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806. After clicking "Get Map", click on "travel and Transportation" in the right sidebar, then select the "Hotels" radio button. Looks like the Ayres Hotel is the closest, right across the street:

I think the Disneyland hotel has a shuttle to the Pond. Call them up to find out. Also note that a famous Flyertalker runs the fabulous wine bar at the hotel.
