Belgrade advice

Going to Belgrade for a short stay and need some advice on what to see. Staying with a friend so I'll have accomodations taken care of but any restaurants or sights to see that I can have him take me to would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you have a local friend I'm sure he can recommend better attractions and restaurants for your tastes than us random strangers here on Flyertalk... in fact, now your duty will be to report back after your trip and tell us all about them!

I, too, am planning a trip to Belgrade and environs. Any suggestions on what to see and where to dine would be most appreciated.

There's tons of Belgrade information at www.eurotrip.com in the Forums. (Go to the Favourite Places forum). I think you'll find tons of stuff and don't be shy about asking, there are alot of BG experts on there.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I did a pretty thorough search, but can't say that I found "tons" of info. I saw more asking for advice and direction to the U.S. State Dept. site; Lonely Planet guidebook; and hostel info.

What I was really after here at FT was experiences specifically of other FTers. Maybe I should try Trip Reports. @:-)
