Where To Go?
My parents have offered the best christmas present to me- they will give me a plane ticket to anywhere in the US (except Alaska and Hawaii, too expensive).
My question is, where should I go? What airline?
I am really surprised they did this- its really cool of them.
Oh Ya, I leave December 31 and come back Jan 1 so only one day! Please post or e-mail with details.

Thanks!
Patrick

Not just for christmas, but it carries over to my birthday (Jan 1) so it is a chrismas/b-day gift because the price is high.

Well that kind of limits the places you can go, if you only have a couple of days.
If you want some advice, you're probably going to want to give us more guidelines, such as what kind of climate you want to go to, how long of a flight you're willing to put up with, what kinds of activities you want to do once you get to the location, etc.

Well, I don't really care how long I am on the plane, what airline I fly, or how many times I connect/change planes.
Also, I do not want to go on Props and would like a CRJ. I can go from ORD or MDW and do not want to fly on Southwest (I fly them too much). Also, it should be cheap, like BWI or ATL...etc.

If you havent' done it, go to New York, catch the New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square, then head back again.
If you have done it, then LA for the Rose Bowl Parade.
