National Express has fairly frequent non-stop coach service between the airports. Figure 90-120 minutes.

The National Express Jetlink buses 717, 727 and 797 do this journey every half an hour. Journey time about 1hr 30m. Details on

I just took the jetlink bus and it took me about 1hr 45 min airport to airport. The only complaint i had was the bus was packed and uncomfortable. Overall though it was worth it due to saving time.

Keep in mind that much of the route is on the M25 motorway west and north of London. Allow extra time if your trip is during the morning or afternoon rush hour as it is often quite congested then.
