CLT & AVL advice wanted
Does anyone have any favorite spots in either city? I have been to CLT a few times now and will be there at least once a month. So apart from lodging do any locals have a favorite:
place
restaurant
bar
shopping area
etc
As for AVL, I will be there for just a couple days, one time, so the standard stuff (including lodging) is of interest here. I pulled out the old "3 Perfect Days" to get a feel for the city but anyone who can add to that commentary from personal experience is welcome.
