Happy 35th to the 747!
"The first Boeing 747, named the City of Everett, was completed at the Everett, Wash., factory on Sept. 30, 1968. Pan American World Airways, the first 747 customer, began flying 747s on the New York-London route on Jan. 21, 1970..."
