Madagascar-RT from USA-need cheaper
I just signed on,and still need to do reseach in Flyertalk. I have a couple of Bids to decide on in the next three days to get to Madagascar----Best price I can find is $2700usa. Leaving LAX, Los Angeles,CA approx Sept 25,2003
and returning to Minneapolis, MN usa
Approx May 6th, 2004.
I will have to leave Madagascar in Dec after the three month Visa runs out. Staying in Mauritius for a few weeks and re enter for three more months. Air france and Air Mad is expensive because of a 6 month restriction and RTW is about the same price, cutting the Ticket restriction Problem..
Question is How can I get a cheaper tickets
thanks for this from the new guy....

Well, theoretically anyway, via the pacific it can be done for around $1900. However, the dates you want are zeroed out and so that little discovery would involve both a waiting list, plus a layover of 4 days in MRU on the return, cause the flights dont operate daily plus they misconnect. It actually could be quite nice if MRU could be taken as a mini-vacation at the end of the TNR stay. I can think of worse places to layover.
Another better schedule appears to be running around $2,300 give or take - perhaps even a little less with a coupons.
BTW, you might want to consider adding an e-mail addy to your profile so that if someone finds something, they'll be able to respond to you privately without sharing your biz with the world. This could also prolly be done really cheap ($688) if you've miles in any program that can be used on AF...???
