"What is the Largest Airline from NYC" thread
I have tried to access this thread, but when I do, it says that the page cannot be found. It was mistakenly originated in MilesBuzz but was then closed and moved here to TravelBuzz. Can a moderator please fix the problem so we can reply to it? Thanks!!

sorry, I can't do anything about it. Perhaps start another?

I vote CO but I have no evidence to back that up, and that is only if you count EWR as part of NYC.

Quick search on any of the NYC area airports' websites provides this link (also posted in original thread):
http://www.panynj.gov/aviation/traff...mmary2003.html
12 month summary ending May 2003 has Contiental as the NYC area's largest carrier.

Tsk Tsk Tsk... We get so dependent on our technology. Allow me to move it to TravelBuzz the old fashioned way, and you may continue from here!

I guess it depends. If you want direct JFK- West Coast flights, you can choose between American, United, Continental and Jetblue all of which i know have non-stops. It also depends if you want to fly based on price or based on perks. If its price, then Jetblue may ne the best call. If its perks or elite status, etc, then American or United is good. US Air and Delta are good if you are flying non-stop to the east coast and south.

If you are coming from Manhattan, then EWR is just about the same distance (it is considered a NYC airport and it is run by the Port Authority). You can catch buses or even the train to get there.
From EWR, the Continental has a very large base and offers many non-stops. So, if you join Continental's OnePass, you can then have not only choices from EWR, but you can also fly Delta & NorthWest from the other NYC hubs and earn elite miles from them too on OnePass.

That would totally depend on where you are going as to which airline has the most flights. There isn't a lot of overlap in destinations.
Remember, every flight leaving any of the three New York airports is a direct flight, maybe not to someplace you want to go, but it's a direct flight.

Howardform,
You didn't really make this clear that this is miles or points related, so I'm going to move it over to Travel Buzz.
