Hotwire.com

Okay, Here's a question: Has anyone out there ever bought a ticket from Hotwire.com and then was late for the airport, thereby missing their flight? If so what was the outcome?

<scratching head> at why this is not in the forun that Tom indicated....

Seems like that is the best place for the answer to this question.

Also, have you tried calling the airline to see what their policy is on these types of tickets?

If it's a non-refundable ticket (which it probably is), you're out of luck.

Most airlines (regardless of where you bought it) started enforcing this rule last Oct/Nov.

I've missed hotwire flights twice and both times I was simply put on the next flight (and I didn't even get lectured).
