iad-dca
I am forced by scheduling/seat availability to land in iad, but my business (and, most likely, accomodation) will be near dca.
I'm wondering what is the best way to go from iad to dca on a mid-afternoon weekday, how long it's likely to take and how much it will $$.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Washington Flyer bus leaves from the arrivals curb every 30 minutes and takes you to the closest Metro station. Take the Metro train to Arlington, switch trains and it will take you right in front of DCA. The bus is $8. Metro will run you about $3.50 or so.

You can also take a Metrobus from IAD to Rosslyn, then the Metro from there. Total cost <$4. Not bad service. Check out www.WMATA.com
