What was your Trip of a Lifetime?
Your most memorable and enjoyable trip? Or are you still planning to take it, like that big blow-out trip around the world you've always wanted to take?
When I was a child, I made a list of places I wanted to go when I grew up. I have been to the majority of them, though they are all mostly in North America and Europe. So I guess I have already done my Trip of a Lifetime.
If I had time and money (and the world situation was a little less frightening), my second Trip of a Lifetime would be either to Egypt, India or Brazil.
Have you done your Dream Trip?

The 1st is coming up in June with my wife and mother in law. We are going to Vienna, Salzburg, and then up the Romantic Road in Germany. Forgot to mention that my wife is piano teacher so you can see why this might appeal to her
We don't have kids yet and my mother in law is 61 with osteoperoses (sp) but still very active. She is a widow and I want her and her daughter to have this trip. We are flying F and burned up a tonne of Starwood points for 7 of the 14 nights. I want them to have the memories for a lifetime together.
My trip, later on, will be to visit the pyramids in Egypt. Can't tell you why they intigue me so, but they do. Might have enough points again mid-next year to think of doing that one as well (just with the wife though)
I imagine that kids will follow very soon so that 2nd one may have to wait a couple of decades
Can't wait for the first one. My wife and mother in law are sooooooo excited about it. 31 more sleeps

I took 13 family and friends to Disneyworld in January 2002. We all flew First. We stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort. My entire family says that it was the best vacation ever.

My destination goal is to go to as many NASCAR Winston Cup (and Busch) races as possible, including:
} The Daytona 500
} Bristol night race (Sharpie 500)
} Talladega race (Aaron's 499)
} Concord NC's Lowe's Motor Speedway, (The Winston, and Coca-Cola 600) Didn't get to go to last night's race.
} Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Brickyard 400)
Races I've been to so far:
} Infinion Raceway, Dodge/Save Mart 350, Sonoma, CA (I don't care much for road course races, but it's funny to watch Dale Earnhardt, Jr. go around saying "My car can't turn right".
} California Speedway, Fontana CA, (Auto Club 500, 4/27) Watched Kurt Busch take it away.
Another ultimate goal is to someday sit next to Darrell Waltrip and be able to say "BOOGETY BOOGETY BOOGETY" at the drop of the green flag in the beginning of the race.
Destinations I'd ultimately like to go to sometime in my life:
} Australia
} Egypt
Erik; How bad have you got it?

My two are related to the reason more than the destination. The first one was to Maryland/DC to see a specialist at the National Eye Institute for a congenital eye condition that I have. The second one was to go to Ottawa to be in the delivery room when my Godson was born.
