Hey,

Anyone subscribed to Mr Upgrade for $395?? If you have, can you let me know if it is worth it??

I get this weekly email from him informing me of all the great discounted First and Biz Class fares.... The only problem is that to view them, you need to be a subscriber..

I do not subscribe, however, after recently looking at his site, I came away with the conclusion that all of the "deals" he publishes can be found elsewhere if one knows how to look.

His amazing "secret" is that you can get a first class upgrade in US48 with just 10K miles.

I'm no expert, but many here are. Check FT every once in a while, and you'll get the same benefits, plus you'll save four hundred bucks.

After susbscribing 18 months ago I took him up on the "money back garantee" one month into the deal. Took 12 months and a letter from my attorney to get refund!!
Definately NOT worth the money...stay away from him!!!

I think he spends his day reading FlyerTalk, then posts the relevant bits of information on his site for subscribers. I get only his free newsletter and a recent AA "bulletin" was reported in FT's AA forum more than a day earlier, as well as being emailed to AAdvantage Elite members directly by AA. Like any other information-gathering service, if you have the time to do the work yourself, there's no reason to pay for it.
