STL Hotels

I need the most convenient hotel at the STL airport.

Ideally they have a shuttle to Avis and a quick shuttle or walking distance to AA.

Any suggestions?

I stayed at the Holiday Inn by the airport in April of last year. It was fine. Less than $100/night, nothing special. They do have an airport shuttle (its about a 5 min. drive). Don't know about Avis though.

There are about 10 hotels right around the airport. Most if not all of them have airport shuttles.

Have a safe trip.

Unless they changed names, the Marriott is directly across from the airport; operates 24hr shuttle.. The avis-as well as others were in the parking garage adj. to terminal; you would just go out of baggage claim and signs would direct you there; don't know if this has changed because of orange alert. The shuttle should be able to get you to AA's ticket gates.

I've used the HI a few times.
If you have staus with them, the club level is really nice.
And yes, they do have a 24 hr shuttle.

All rental cars at STL are off-property.

The airport Hilton is at 10330 Natural Bridge Road. (Across i-70 from the terminal.)

The AVIS lot is at 10482 Natural Bridge Road. I believe is it next door.

Everything is on the south side of Natural Bridge since the north side of it is I-70.

The Marriott is at Natural Bridge and the entrance to the airport.

You certianly could walk to the Avis lot from the Hilton. It's a bit farther from the Marriott.

All places mentioned have shuttle bus service that picks up just outside of main-terminal baggage claim.

I'm not sure about the exact pick-up location at the East Terminal which serves WN.

I'm partial to the Doubletree Club. Nice staff. Reasonable prices. Nice room and view of the airport.

The answer:

The Hilton is next to [2-3 minutes walking] the Avis and Hertz lot.

Nice property. Just stayed there last night.
