API documentation

I just booked my reservation for travel MSP -CUN in March and my travel agent told me a new federal law started in Jan 03 that I would need to bring them a copy of my Driver license so they can enter it in on my reservation. I guess its some security measure that my license matches what I show at the airport.

Has anyone else heard of having to do this now?

No, it can't be a law because not all travelers have drivers licenses. That's why so many people at airports use passports. Maybe that's what he meant?
