Yet another standby question...
Haven't seen this one asked:
On those days when your airline arrive to the connection city early (say, an CDG-CVG DL flight, getting in 45 minutes ahead of schedule), will DL still charge $100 if you want to get the earlier flight to SDF? You would have booked the earlier one had it been a legal connection. Now, you have to wait 4 hours. What is the procedure?

Ask when you get there.
If they say you have to pay, then don't do it and wait for your reserved flight. If that flight is full, then somebody gets bumped unnecesarily or you can volunteer and collect a bonus.
