Orbitz cleared by US DOT
I'm relieved to see that Orbitz was cleared of any misdoing by the transportation department. Another case of sour grapes for their competition. I think their competition should worry more about why people have switched to Orbitz than petty legal procedures to save face. I was tired of bad service--thats why I switched and I've been very satisfied.

I haven't heard anything - but after the dismissal of the ASTA complaint, I don't see what the point is. I think the whole inquiry stemmed from pressure that big money guys like Travelocity (owned by the old coputer reservation system SABRE) and Expedia (owned by Microsoft and now USA Networks) put on their men in Washington.
