+ than 3 months between outbond and return flight?
I need an outbond flight (PAR - LIS) in the end off September and a return flight (LIS - PAR) in the end off January next year. There is a gap of more than 3 months between outbond and return flight.
When i searched travelocity i've found fares for about 800. It's a rather a high fare.
When i searched one way flights i've found fares for about 400.
I can book two roundtrip flights, one in September (PAR - LIS) and the other in January (LIS - PAR) and doing only outbond flights on both. It will cost about 500 total.
Do you know a way to get better prices?
Is it possible: one person to do the outbond flight and another person to do the return flight?

I would purchase the two roundtrip tickets at the reduced fares and simply throw away the return. I know it seems wasteful, but it is a very practical solution. I have done this when I spend the winter in Hawaii as it is often longer than the 60 day maximum that the airline allows.
