On Board Etiquette
From BA intranet:
In preparation for the peak holiday season, British Airways has been consulting with its European passengers to find out just what niggles them most when flying. As a result of this feedback, the airline has produced five relevant tips to ensure that everyone has a stress free journey to the sun.
1. Appreciate your own personal space and others will appreciate yours
46% of passengers hate it when people encroach on their personal space with elbows and legs.
2. Don't make others feel like a Gooseberry
28% complained about couples canoodling indiscreetly next to them
3. Don't tell your life story to the person sitting next to you
12% of holidaymakers can't stand it when a complete stranger engages in lengthy conversations about themselves.
4. If you are listening to a CD player please consider those around you and keep the volume down to a level where only you can hear it
10% of those asked said that loud CD players annoyed them the most.
5. Don't shout
4% of holidaymakers felt annoyed by fellow passengers yelling at family and friends across the aisleway.
