Can any body tell me who are the frequent flyer program partners of Aerolineas Argentinas?

I wasn't aware they had any kind of ff program, flew with them a couple of months ago - no reference to any kind of scheme, so if it does exist, it's a well-kept secret. If you're looking for good hotel deals in Argentina, they're not hard to come by at the moment, given the economic situation. Just call a hotel direct and ask if they have any special offers (esp. for stays of 3 days and more). Or just call them and name a price. I got a superb 4-star hotel in the centre of Buenos Aires for US$43 a night (against an advetised rack rate of $250).

aa will not sell you a ticket on aerolineas. had to go to my ta to get one. tried a few times in the past to get aa mi's , but couldn't , maybe because of fare basis.

surely, there must be another way to get to Argentina. Would suggest focusing on safety and not miles. I would be very concerned flying an airline which is government-owned/sponsored/operated, by a government in such disarray. Is the Argentine govt. putting the proper resources into safety?

my aerolineas flight was internal, i flew them international about 7 yrs ago and said no way.

but within the country, its another story. they were the only option for aep-eqs. used lapa cor-aep, and southern winds cpc-aep. open jaw eqs-cpc.

southern winds is supposed to give aa mi's, but because i canceled, won't find out. i came back early and didn't take the aep-aep loop.

Thanks you all for your responses. I just want to know how I can register for their FF program as I had traveled extensively within Argentina. I had no problem in travelling on the airline, as I traveled on their Visit Argentina Pass. But I must say that I made it back to ATL in time to avoid the present situation.

Hi Charney. AR does have a frequent flyer program, its called Aerolineas Plus. Im not sure if its still operating and if they are honoring tickets, though. Im not saying they are not, but they have reduced their international flying schedule dramatically and therefore Im not sure what the exact status is. As far as I know, they are (still?) partners with AAdvantage. The last think I knew you could accrue miles to AAdvantage when flying AR metal. If you travelled extensively within Argentina, I would suggest you contact your local travel agent and ask him for some guidance on this. Im not sure AA will honour retroactive credit, though. How long ago was this flying done...?
