Crossair
I've done a search on this site (and others) and wondered if anyone had any specific feedback about Crossair. As I am planning a trip to Milan in the fall they had the best fares. I know that as of April 1 Swissair officially (?) becomes Crossair. I also had heard that originally Crossair only had inter-Europe flights but it appears that they will begin service from JFK soon. One of my colleagues who flew Swissair frequently for business (and Crossair) felt that for the most part they were reliable, punctual and had good customer service. Any feedback from travel mavens such as yourselves would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think they fly already to/from the USA. Yesterday a have seen a Crossair/Swiss/Swissair (?) landing at MIA.
Regarding your questions - nobody knows how good/bad the new Swiss will be. You may visit the "Qualifier-Board".

On 3/31, Crossair will take over some 52 aircraft of the bankrupt Swissair. The new conglomerate will be known as SWISS ( http://www.fly-swiss.com ) and serve destinations on 4 continents. In the US they fly to YUL, BOS, EWR, JFK, MIA, ORD, LAX with Swissair crew and planes.
It is believed that SWISS will join oneworld. Please consult the Qualiflyer board in FT Miles for more information.
