I dont know if this is the right forum but I didnt know where else to put it. My wife and I are trying to go to Cabo from Sacramento leaving on 3/29 and returning on 4/2. I've been trying for a couple of days but the best I can do is over $700.00 a person at the Plaza Las Glorias and they won't guarantee us a single queen or king bed. Anyone have any ideas? I even tried San Diego and LAX figuring we could hop on southwest for $200 if it was alot cheaper but still no luck. I figued someone hear might have an idea.

Your post is a little confusing. Are you trying to get a package? Is the $700pp for hotel alone or air and hotel?
Unfortunately, prices go way up to Mexico over spring break. But if your $700 includes air, that's not bad. La Paz could be a cheaper option.

This should probably be posted on one of the travel forums. I go to Cabo alot. I fly from LAX & can usually get a good airfare ($200-$300) on AA or AS....but Easter might be another story. Hotels are expensive--that's the hard part. I've also gone on Alaska Vacations pkgs. which might work out better. Feel free to email me if you want.

Easter is a terribly busy time in Cabo - very big religios holiday - especially for Catholics. If you can find decent air I can give you the name of a condo owner that you could call and check on availability. Usually about 1300 US a week - never tried shorter time than a week - for a nice 2b/2b close to the water away from the main tourist area but within walking distance of downtown.
