Whose going to mardi gras???
whose going to mardi gras? or who has already gone? I am going with some friends because we found a great deal on orbitz. The problem is we don't know where to stay. I know i will be out and about through the festivities, but I want a safe place to crash any suggestions???

I was in new orleans Jan 18 to 20. I would bet most places are full by now and those that are left in the city are at Rack Rate or more. Obviously the closer to the qtr you are the easier life is on you. However don't neglect the garden district, near the Conv ctr or dome, as they are all a drunken stooper walk back or a cheap cab ride
