We went last April and were also "forced" to use award travel. Prices are very high. We found it expensive while we were there, too. Great place. (Hold on to your hat - those trade winds are everything they are reported to be)!

We were just in Puerto Rico and the weather and hotel were superb. If these airfares to aruba don't come down, I think I'll change my plans and go back to PR. Jetblue in NY just got rights to fly there and their fares are half what AA is charging.
