Oriental Hotel?

I have a reserved a cityview suite at the Oriental. Any comments on their rooms and service? I am not interested in proximity to Orchard road but would like to know if this is a convenient location.

Not a particularly good puzzle; Orchard Road narrows it down to one.

However, it is still a stutifyingly mystifying posting (wants a convenient location but doesn't care about Orchard Road -- convenient to what, then??) meriting well the amount of response that it has received.

Ooops! I have reservations at the Oriental in Singapore. I had thought I was posting this to an existing question about Singapore hotels. Sorry.

When will you be in Singapore? I'll be staying at the Oriental February 22-26. I haven't stayed there before, but if it's as good as the one in Banghkok, it should be great. I got a website deal of S$199 - hard to beat.

The Shangri-La is real close to Orchard Road--a very short walk. It is a beautiful hotel---one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it. Absolutely gorgeous!!
