JAX for Cheap?

Help in Jacksonville
Looking for a CHEAP sleep in Jacksonville Saturday, December 8th. I'd prefer something close to the airport and covenant to restaurants and or shops. I've looked at the Fairfield Inn and the Days Inn. I get miles for Fairfield, but Days is cheaper.. I've never been so unsure of the lay-of-the-land..

Yes this is a Miles run, and No I didn't see the thread on Jacksonville stays.

Will you still help me??

Well I can actually help someone..

The Airport in JAX is about 25 minutes from downtown. There really is not much around the airport. There is a Denny's and a new Ruby Tuesday. I would suggest renting a car and getting a hotel in the downtown area. Omni, Adams Mark and a few others.

I will be in SFO this weekend and will be staying at the Grosevenor Suites near Nob Hill. Is this a descent place? for 99/night I could not pass it up.

That's a great place to experience SF. Centrally located in the middle of Union Square.
Thanks for the JAX info. I'm doing a mileage run, so I'll only be in town for 14 hours.
I was thinking about just relaxing at the room near the airport? But you are suggesting I cruse
into town?? If I decided to just stay at JAX, is there one budget hotel you can recommend over another?
