There should be stationed in every airport, for the duty of checking individual suitcases, as many soldiers as there are gates.
By reducing airport check in time air travel will again burgeon.
Other soldiers will be sent off -- on commercial airliners as sky marshals. Both domestic and international.
This would make possible the keeping open of military bases scheduled to be closed and keep the economies of those respective citis and towns vibrant.
