Aberdeen hotels

I'll be going to Aberdeen, Scotland at the end of the month for two weeks. Can anyone recommend a good hotel? How is the Marriott or the Copthorne?

We were in Aberdeen three or four years ago in the summer. I can't advice you about hotels; we stayed somewhere midrange that was unremarkable. What I can tell you is that Aberdeen is cold and windy - even in the summer - so it surely will be when you visit. It is a rather dreary oil town, made all the more dreary by the miserable weather.
