Sheraton CDG Questions.
I stayed at the CDG twice in the last week recently both times I was basically in transit and very jet lagged. I am a Gold. I was put on the 2nd floor both times. It does not seem to me that I was upgraded. The first time I stayed in there last week I had a regular "Classic Room" reserved, and I put a note Gold SPG in the Speical Requests area. On my second stay I had a "Club Floor" room reserved. Both times I was put on the 2nd floor in like rooms 254 and 259. I cannot remember if that is the Club Floor or what. I have not stayed here for about 5 or 6 months until last week and I completley forgot the layout etc... Is their a seperate Executive Floor and Club Floor and/or a seperate Club Lounge and Executive Lounge. If so which one is better? I am looking at the different room types and descriptions from http://www.itn.com, and it looks like for me as a Business Traveller, a Smart Executive Room is best as it included access to the Executive Lounge. Because of recent events I now prefer a room on a low floor (is the Sheraton CDG floors 1-4?, 1- lobby etc.., 2,3,4 -rooms?) and a room near the elevators, and facing the runway. Can't they accomadate that as a Gold SPG?
