Airport maps & layouts

Where can I get a good map of the Chcago O'Hare airport that shows where the UA domestic flights arrive and the LH international flights depart? My wife & I will be the ones doing the 1/4 mile dash in Oct. We are supposed to 30 min between flights if everyone is on time !!
Hope someone can help!!
The tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE & our next leg is to Cairo Egypt! Thanx

This is WAY too short time - even if you make it (which I think is problematical), your bags probably won't (and both LH and UA close there door several minutes before departure). I do not even think this is a legal international connection.

Yeah, it's definitely way too short of a connection time. I'd venture a guess that it's a good bit more than 1/4 mile from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5. You'll have to go out on the departure level and catch the train to Terminal 5.

Why is your connection so tight?

I'm going to say the computer system is at fault.

I've had travel sites price out valid itineries which allowed me 10 minutes to get to a connecting flight. This despite the official policy of many airlines that you must be at the gate 15/20 minutes before departure or they can deny you entry.

Legally you need a minimum of an hour and fifteen for an international connection between UA and LH. They will not be responsible for connecting your luggage if you have less than that. If a travel agent booked you incorrectly then they need to change you, but if you did it yourself, you are probably going to be dinged for change fees. Also on international departures the airline will give away your seat 40 minutes prior to departure if not before if you aren't there. Bottom line..change your flights as soon as possible.

If you have a Palm, you can download FireViewer and load airport maps.

I carry around LAX, ORD and DEN since I'm pretty dedicated to UA and those are the hubs I usually use.
