Just curious if anyone knew the routes to avoid on continental in order to avoid getting bumped

Welcome to FlyerTalk! Look under FlyerTalk Miles, then the Forum "Continental" you'll find a lot of useful information there. There is also a thread under "Miles" that talks about best flight on which to get a bump - so you could avoid those.
